PMB Golf Club – Honours Board
Whilst photographing at the Golf course I met with Charles Severn who has produced the 125 year record of this golf course. It is the oldest playing course in South Africa. The Cape claims the earliest club formed, but PMB has the rightful claim as the oldest active course !! The course is in its 4th location, the first being at the Scottsville racecourse, 2nd in Alexander park , 3rd in Golf road – now UKZN and finally, in its present location. Great to have this record of the course.
