13 Dec Heritage Architectural Plans at UKZN
It is with alarm that more of our heritage is being destroyed. In this instance, protected homes in Northdene are being destroyed. In this case it is the old North family home that is being demolished.
How this protected home has been allowed to be demolished is unclear but either the heritage agencies have failed in their duties of this municipality has turned a blind eye and not upheld the law.
When one considers that this family donated huge pieces of land to the public, including North Park, this demolition represents the highest level of disrespect.
