The Homestead is a three star resort in the centre of Geluksburg, and has 26 rooms, and caters for weddings, conferences, and general accommodation. It was owner Pennie Human's father who built the resort, and now Pennie is continuing the tradition, and personally ensures guests are looked after. The Homestead has well furnished rooms, and the hotel caters for meals in its dining room. Other facilities include a bar, games room and swimming pool. The Homestead is in the heart of mountain pass country, with Bezuidenhouts, Van Reenens, Retiefs, Oliviershoek and Middledale passes all within close driving distance.
